- is a way of being church for families involving fun
- is a church, not a craft club, that helps people encounter Jesus as Lord and Saviour
- is found across the world
- values are about being Christ-centred, for all ages, based on creativity, hospitality and celebration
Messy Church is primarily, ‘though not solely, for young families and incorporates lots of different activities based around a passage of scripture.
This isn’t the same as Sunday Club as this is for all the family and all children will have to be accompanied by an adult. Our Messy Church involves a warm welcome, a creative time exploring the biblical theme of the day, a short celebration time which may include a story, a biblical reading, a song, a game and a short simple time of prayer.
Messy Church is for people who don’t normally 'do' church or who find sitting with their young children through a long service just too hard. If that describes you then why not give Messy Church a try.
